Nov 3, 2016 · Documenting Mayo – Ken Burns Was Here, and He’s Making a Movie

Excellant! Always more than willing to share our patient story traveling to Mayo with our son for the past 7 years. Samaritan’s Purse did a short film on a bit of my son’s patient journey and therefore our wanting to give back through the Connection between Mayo and Children’s Heart Project. Hoping you will cover the incredible service provided to those that don’t have access all over the world. Much respect!!! Julie Bayles

Jun 20, 2016 · From First Class to First Responder: Mayo Nurse Assists With In-Flight Emergency

I love that Mr. Fenton prayed with the patient. As a Christian myself, there is nothing I would find more important, more comforting and more active in my care than prayer to the master physician. I have found Mayo personnel to be not only top notch best in their field but also the most kindhearted, compassionate & caring professionals ever. Thank you for being willing to be a vessel the Lord worked through for this patient. No doubt he placed you at the right place, at the right time! Grateful for a happy ending.

Jan 12, 2016 · Saving Jackson – Rallying Around Patient When Delivery Takes a Frightening Turn

This is such a beautiful example of the extraordinary care of Mayo staff. We thank God for them! So neat that this personal hand written note, letting this family know they were being prayed for brought light to this. There is so much that goes on behind closed doors with these doctors/nurses, that often go unnoticed. So much sacrifice, compassion, & care involved in a regular work day/shift. We take our son to Rochester and drive 600 miles for that care…and are so blessed! BTW our other son, now 16 year old had the exact same circumstances at birth. Prolapse cord, no vitals, extensive resuscitation, praise God he is completely fine…every birthday, we remember the circumstances of that very scary day. Praise God for the Dr’s and nurses whom he had called for service. Blessings in 2016 and beyond!!!
