The final Heritage Classic 5K Run/Walk of the season took place at Mayo Clinic in Florida on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Christian Glover, Clinical Studies Unit-General Surgery, crossed the finish line first with a time of 18:44.
Of course, the event was about more than just who was going to be the fastest runner. There were plenty of other activities for participants and spectators to enjoy, including a selfie station; photo opportunities with Mayo historical figures; coffee, smoothie and food trucks; live music by Wavelength Trio; as well as bounce houses, an exhibitor fair and games for all ages.
This latest round of Heritage Classic registration fees also contributed to the Mayo Clinic Hope Fund, which supports patients in financial need while receiving at any Mayo Clinic location. If you didn't participate in the Heritage Classic but want to support the Hope Fund or make an additional donation, you can do that here.
